In addition to cherries and currants and apples and wild plums, Michael planted apricot trees. They are Manchurian Apricots, which are cold hardy, but semi-wild and so variable in output. They also tend to ripen all at once, fall on the ground, and immediately rot. Michael has been checking on them daily. Today he announced the apricots were ripe.
