The carpenters really did arrive on Wednesday, September 23rd.

The floor in the living room won’t begin until November. Gives us time to host the Days of the Dead pilgrimage, the Grand Guy’s birthday, and then clear out that space and arrange for alternate housing while the floor gets finished. And maybe, just maybe, get the living room walls plastered with a final coat of mud, then painted. I’m still contemplating how to add handrails. Hmmm.
