Fire journal: feeding the garden

We celebrated February by burning the deer carcasses with last year’s pruning pile.

We recruited all the help we could.

We fed our work crew well on beans, rellenos, cabbage and cake.

The grands were full of beans even before dinner.

They left ephemera. May we all burn brightly and imprint our shadows in this land.
